vor Ihnen liegt die 38. Ausgabe unseres Magazins und auch sie bringt uns auf schönste Weise die Vielseitigkeit der Fotografie nahe. Lassen Sie sich entführen in eine Welt voll unterschiedlicher Facetten. Genießen Sie mit uns Bilder aus aller Welt. Diskutieren Sie mit uns die Traumbilder von Horst Kistner und vergessen Sie Zeit und Raum, wenn Sie die Aufnahmen von Jonas Forsberg betrachten. Lassen Sie sich von LiliROZE verführen und tauchen Sie in die floralen Bildkompositionen von Jean Luc Niels ein. Gehen Sie mit uns und Jens Sparshatt auf Reisen nach Kuba und Brasilien und beenden Sie die Bildreise mit Klaus Ender am Ostseestrand. Gerhard Weber, der mit Ender befreundet war, zeigt uns den Straßenalltag der DDR, während wir uns dank Stephane Noel in vielschichtigen Porträts verlieren können. Axel Schneegaß zeigt uns weibliche Schönheit und Carl de Keyzer holt uns zurück auf den Boden einer so noch nie gesehenen Realität, bei der er mit Hilfe von künstlicher Intelligenz aus Propaganda-Strukturen Bilder machte.
Wer ein wenig Zeit hat und Fotografie live genießen möchte, dem sei das derzeit stattfindende Fotofestival Horizonte Zingst empfohlen – der gesamte Ort ist ein Mekka für Fotofreunde und das Max Hünten Haus einer ihrer Treffpunkte. Gleich danach eröffnet La Gacilly in der Nähe von Wien. Genießen Sie einen Stadtrundgang und einen wunderschönen Park, gespickt mit zeitgenössischer Fotografie, während das namensgleiche Festival auch in Frankreich stattfindet. Oder besuchen Sie das faszinierende Arles, das ab der ersten Juliwoche bis in den Oktober hinein „Les rencontres wie das Off“ mit aktuellen Fotopositionen zeigt. Es dürfte zwischenzeitlich das größte Fotofestival der Welt sein, für mich ist es auch das wichtigste. Schauen Sie sich um und genießen Sie die künstlerische Fotografie.

Gerhard Weber, who was a friend of Ender's, shows us everyday life on the streets of the GDR, while Stephane Noel allows us to lose ourselves in multi-layered portraits. Axel Schneegaß shows us female beauty, and Carl de Keyzer brings us back down to earth with a reality we have never seen before, using artificial intelligence to create images from propaganda structures.
If you have a little time and want to enjoy photography live, we recommend the Horizonte Zingst photo festival, which is currently taking place – the entire town is a Mecca for photography enthusiasts, and the Max Hünten Haus is one of their meeting places. La Gacilly opens nearby Vienna right after that. Enjoy a city tour and a beautiful park dotted with contemporary photography, while the festival of the same name also takes place in France. Or visit fascinating Arles, which showcases current photography from the first week of July until October with “Les rencontres comme l'Off.” It is probably the largest photography festival in the world and, for me, it is also the most important. Take a look around and enjoy the artistic photography.
